Restrography (“Restrography”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is a hospitality technology platform connecting hospitality professionals, restaurants, hotel groups, cloud kitchens, cafes, recruiters, vendors, and industry consultants across India.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, process, disclose, and safeguard your data when you visit our website, register an account, upload or generate a CV, post job vacancies, browse candidates, or interact with our matching services.

By accessing or using Restrography, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we will obtain your explicit consent before processing personal data.

2. Who We Are and Operating Entity

Restrography is currently operated as a proprietary platform and digital brand by its founding management team.

Upon formal completion of corporate incorporation, this section will be updated with the registered corporate entity name and registered office address.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide recruitment, business discovery, and platform matching services.

3.1 Candidates & Hospitality Professionals

When you register, create a profile, or apply for roles, we collect:

  • Identity & Contact Details: Full name, email address, and mobile phone number (kept private and not shown publicly).
  • Location: Current city, state, and preferred working cities.
  • Professional Experience: Current and past job designations, years of experience, employment history, and key achievements.
  • Skills & Specialities: Departmental skills, culinary cuisines/specialities (e.g., Bakery, Tandoor, Continental, South Indian), bar/beverage skills, and service qualifications.
  • Language Preferences: Preferred working languages across 23 regional Indian languages.
  • Compensation & Availability: Expected salary, previous compensation ranges (where voluntarily provided), and joining availability.
  • Resumes & CVs: CVs you upload (PDF, DOCX or image) and CVs generated through our platform tools, stored in private storage.
  • Activity & Preferences: Swiping activity, shortlisted opportunities, interview stages, job alert opt-in preferences, and in-app communications with prospective employers.

Note: Restrography does not request, collect, or store government identity documents (such as Aadhaar, PAN, or Passport).

3.2 Restaurants, Hotels & Employers

When you register a hospitality brand or post vacancies, we collect:

  • Business Details: Brand name, operating format (Dine-in, QSR, Bar/Pub, Cloud Kitchen, Hotel, Cafe), outlet count, and city locations.
  • Representative Contact: Name, designation, business email address, and phone number of authorized managers or recruiters.
  • Hiring Requirements: Job titles, required experience bands, salary ranges, cuisine specialities, job descriptions, and hiring pipeline notes.
  • Platform Activity: Candidate swiping, shortlisting, candidate messaging, and interview scheduling.

3.3 Hospitality Vendors & Consultants

If you register as an industry supplier, architect, consultant, equipment vendor, or technology provider, we collect your business name, contact details, service categories, city coverage, and portfolio descriptions.

3.4 Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system.
  • Login session information stored in your browser to keep you signed in.
  • Timestamps of logins and platform activity for security and fraud prevention.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Account Management: Creating and maintaining candidate, employer, recruiter, and vendor profiles.
  • AI-Powered Role Matching: Comparing candidate designations, culinary specialities, seniority and experience against job openings to show relevant matches.
  • CV Access for Employers: Enabling signed-in restaurant brands to review candidate CVs for recruitment.
  • Communications & Alerts: Sending account notifications, interview updates, and optional weekly matching job alerts.
  • In-App Messaging: Facilitating communication between matched candidates and employers.
  • Platform Security: Detecting unauthorized access, preventing spam or impersonation, and maintaining access controls.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or resumes to data brokers or third-party marketing firms.

5. AI-Powered Matching and Automated Processing

  • Matching Criteria: Our system groups designations into role families, considers seniority, culinary specialities, and experience ranges.
  • CV Generation: Formatting the experience you provide into a structured, professional resume.
  • Human Oversight: Recommendations assist human decisions. Restrography does not make automated, binding employment decisions; employers remain responsible for shortlisting and hiring.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We share necessary data with service providers that help us run the platform:

  • Hosting & Web Delivery: Cloudflare.
  • Database, Sign-In & File Storage: Lovable Cloud.
  • AI Processing: Lovable AI (using foundation models from providers such as Google and OpenAI) for CV formatting and matching recommendations.
  • Email: Brevo for weekly job alerts to opted-in candidates, and a transactional email service for account and activity notifications.
  • Third-Party Sign-In: Google, when you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Legal Disclosures: We may disclose personal data if required by Indian law, court order, or governmental authority, or to investigate security violations.

7. How Candidate Data is Shared with Employers

  • Browse & Swipe Marketplace: Professional experience, skills, and designations of approved profiles are shown to signed-in restaurant employers.
  • Contact Details: Phone numbers and private contact information are only available within authorized hiring workflows.
  • CV Downloads: CVs are kept in private storage and shared through short-lived links only with permitted platform users.

8. Cookies and Storage Technologies

Restrography uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising tracking pixels.

  • We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and needed to provide services.
  • When you delete your account, your profile, matching card, and contact entries are removed from our active systems.
  • Limited records may be retained for statutory periods where required under Indian law.

  • HTTPS for data in transit.
  • Role-based access rules so users only see data they are permitted to access.
  • Private storage with short-lived links for candidate CVs and documents.

No transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. Please use strong passwords and report suspicious activity immediately.

Restrography is a professional marketplace for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
